ConnectSTL Quarterly Newsletter Q1 2026

BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE. STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS. EXPANDING OPPORTUNITY

Recognized Again:
2025 Visionary Digital
Inclusion Trailblazer

We are proud to share that the City of St. Louis has once again been recognized as a Visionary Digital Inclusion Trailblazer by
the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) for the second year in a row.
This national recognition reflects the strength of our city’s commitment to digital
equity, collaboration, and innovation.

It also reflects the work of our partners: educators, grassroots leaders, service providers, technologists, and community organizations who continue to build real solutions on the ground.
This honor belongs to the entire region. Strengthening our responsibility to keep building.
We are grateful to NDIA for this national recognition!

Expanding Funding & Partnership Opportunities

ConnectSTL is now working to share and coordinate funding opportunities across our ecosystem.

We are preparing to:

  • Share grant alerts with aligned partners
  • Identify collaborative funding pathways
  • Support ecosystem-based proposals
  • Connect innovators to strategic partners

However, in order to ensure alignment and active participation:
Organizations must be registered in the ConnectSTL Portal to receive funding notifications and be considered for collaborative opportunities.

Join the Portal
Visit Connect-STL.org

Register as:

  • A Member
  • A Service Provider

This allows us to understand:

  • What services you offer
  • What populations you serve
  • What partnerships make sense
  • Where funding alignment may exist

IF WE DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU DO, WE CAN’T ADVOCATE FOR YOU.

Important: Portal Membership Required

To be considered for partnership-based funding opportunities:

  • You must be a registered member on Connect-STL.org
  • You must be listed as a member and/or service provider
  • You must have attended at least two ConnectSTL events within the past four quarters OR participated in a ConnectSTL initiative

We will be sending funding updates, partnership invitations, and ecosystem opportunities directly through the portal.
If you are not registered, we will not be able to include you in those communications.

Celebrating Our Recent Milestones

Learn2Tech Graduation Celebration

Last quarter, we celebrated our Learn2Tech graduates at the Harrison Education Center – Northside Economic Empowerment Center.

Led by our partners at MoveWorth, participants completed foundational AI and digital skills training to strengthen workforce readiness and confidence in everyday technology use.

This milestone reflected resilience, growth, and expanded opportunity across our community.

Follow us on social media for student reviews, upcoming classes, and program updates.

Building Stronger Connections Across Our Tech Community

This quarter marks an important
evolution for ConnectSTL.

While we remain committed to digital literacy and workforce development, we are now placing a larger focus on networking and strategic partnerships across the tech ecosystem.

Our goal is simple: support local organizations building technology that helps people. From apps improving access to services, to platforms creating opportunity, to tools
strengthening communities, we want to help connect that work to the right partners, collaborators, and funding opportunities.

ConnectSTL is growing into a space where innovation meets alignment.

Building on Momentum: ConnectSTL Holiday Mixer

Our last major gathering on December 10, 2025.

The ConnectSTL Holiday Mixer sold out. Grassroots leaders, tech innovators, nonprofit partners, and institutional stakeholders came together in one room.

More importantly, partnerships were formed. New collaborations started.

Follow-up meetings were scheduled and 250 new members joined the ConnectSTL network.

That momentum brings us into March 20 with clarity and purpose.

Q1 Network Meeting March 20th at SPARK

Partnership & Funding Pathways

On March 20, ConnectSTL will host our Q1 Network Meeting at SPARK | Ballpark Village 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM with a focused conversation on partnership development and funding pathways across our tech ecosystem.

As our network grows, we are moving beyond conversation and into coordinated action.

This networking meeting will center on:

  • How organizations can partner on funding opportunities
  • How ConnectSTL will share collaborative grant alerts
  • How we align around innovation that serves people
  • How to strengthen our ecosystem through visibility and coordination

If you are building technology, supporting digital inclusion, or serving community through innovation, this conversation is for you!
