Your acknowledgement indicates your understanding and acceptance of these terms.

Our Purpose, Principles and Promise:

ConnectSTL's Purpose is to:
To establish a digitally inclusive community where every resident enjoys equal access to opportunities, resources, and the transformative power of technology. As a coalition, our aim is to focus on unity and collaboration and together we strive to dismantle digital barriers, cultivate robust collaborations, and narrow the digital divide. We seek to establish a sustainable model that encourages participation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

ConnectSTL's Promise is:
In order to realize a vision of St. Louis as a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed, the ConnectSTL coalition will emphasize a collaborative approach. By leveraging the Collective Impact model, we strive to collaborate across sectors to drive a common agenda but still leave room for individual actors to participate. This commitment to each other becomes a rallying call for the community to thrive collectively. By acknowledging the importance of regional collaboration over internal competition, the ConnectSTL Digital Equity Coalition becomes a beacon for meaningful change, championing digital access as a means to uplift the entire community.

Membership Responsibilities & Expectations:

As a member of ConnectSTL, I agree to the following:

• Support the Mission: Act in a manner consistent with the purpose, principles and promise of the organization.
• Respectful Engagement: Engage respectfully and constructively with other members, partners, and the public.
• Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the coalition, when explicitly designated as such.
• Active Participation: Contribute to the coalition's activities and discussions to the best of my ability, and consider participating in committees or initiatives.
• Adherence to Policies: Abide by any established policies, procedures, or codes of conduct adopted by ConnectSTL.

Membership Benefits:

As a member, you will have access to:

• Exclusive access to member-only resources and forums along with updates.
• Ability to participate in governance committees to shape the coalition.
• Networking opportunities with like-minded individuals and organizations.
• List your organization on our ConnectSTL portal as a resource provider or digital champion.
• Opportunity for increased marketing at our events, publications or outreach.
• Advance notification and invitation to our quarterly events.

Membership Term & Dues:

• Membership Term: Membership is valid until revoked by either party.
• Membership Dues: None

Termination of Membership:

ConnectSTL reserves the right to terminate membership for violation of this agreement or actions inconsistent with the coalition's mission and values. Members may also terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice.
